So charmed were we by the tiny pub, nestled within this enchanting British West midlands inn, that we wanted to take it home with us and have it replicated! Imagine yourself serving drinks from under the canopy, your closest friends gathered around the concave stand-up bar, their smiles reflected in the wide, bevel mirror-backed counter. Though we've scaled it for home use, its ample storage includes 8 drawers and 4 cabinets (all with brass pulls), room for 40 bottles, 4 shelves, and row upon row of stem holders up top. You'll add instant atmosphere, and history with this substantial, honey-stained distressed high-quality mahogany bar, held up by 6 supporting pillars—the only authentic English pub on this side of the Atlantic.

Total Nightmare! First off, the top WILL NOT fit through your door. Secondly, the delivery men will not take off the packing to get the other 2 pieces that can fit through the door, through. Third, the pillars only line up if you push the back top piece farther against the wall (not sure if this is a design flaw or if it is intended to be that way. We used Wayfair’s 3rd party contracted services “Handy”, to put it together but had to cancel because I first had to cut the top off and clue it back together to fit it into the door. Can’t really put something together when half of it is still sitting outside your door. Once you get that done it’s going to take more than two guys to get the top on. It took 5 adults to put this top piece on and get the pillars to stay where they needed to be, and even with all those people it was still very, VERY challenging. Lastly, from a far distance the quality seems great. However, when you get closer you can see several staining flaws especially around the side panels that move. It’s like they were not held in place when stained. There are also about three dips (holes) on the top bar counter. If I had to do it over again, we would have went with something different. The bar is very nice. I was hoping it would be a bit darker, but it works. I’d say the color is almost walnut. It was very easy to set up and could be set up either way. Has a nice metal pan behind bar to keep ice. One of the two cabinets locks. Has a small drawer for items like bottle opener etc. The shelves in the cabinets and the open shelves (where I store glasses) do not appear to be adjustable, so bottles have to be laid down.
