They were perfect. I like the blend of different shades of tans/browns. I was trying to stay away from greys and these work. I do wish they had a similar counter height stool (and a backless option). Pad is attached to bottom of seat so you cannot remove it. Height is just to top of my bar so it does not alter view from kitchen to family room area (when no one is sitting there). Comfy and sturdy. No assembly required! They are fairly smooth backs but they might snag sweaters as they are similar to rattan but I plan to use cover backs during holidays when family is visiting. Wayfair for the win!!! I ordered barstools similar to these from Arhaus in July. It’s been delayed every month and most recently pushed back to Dec. I thought why not try Wayfair I need seating for the holidays. I’m tired of waiting. I ordered them Friday and they were delivered in less than a week! They are sturdy and high quality. They are so comfortable my guests won’t want to leave! I guess I’ll have to dim the lights and play “it’s closing time” to give the not so subtle hint to guests. We are very happy with our purchase..
