I was doing my fair bit of shopping and wanted a more contemporary looking glider for our room. This one looked nice and it was on sale so I bit the bullet. I was surprised to find the glider on my front porch two days after I placed the order. It shipped pretty compact and arrived in one box. SETUP: You do have to assemble it but putting it together was a breeze. There were only two pieces and after I lined up the backrest with the base seat, sliding it in was not difficult. You have to make sure you hear the clicks once the hardware was in place. When I did it, only one had clicked and I just had to push the other side a little harder to get it click. There is a fabric cover that you need to stretch tight to attach to the velcro under the chair frame. THOUGHTS: The chair looked awesome and fit the decor of our room. The glider was really comfortable and the rocking and turning action were very smooth and quiet. Wifey also gave me props for picking a good color. The fabric looked nice and looked like the more expensive ones you would find at West Elm or Pottery Barn. Needless to say, I know where I'm sitting for movie night!. The chair was easy to assemble, color of wood and fabric were spot on, was expecting more of a cushion when putting together the chair, so I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but when I sat in the chair but it surprisingly comfortable. The chair matches nicely with our crib we had already purchased. I have yet to spend a lot of time in the chair, baby is due early September, but I have rocked in it for an hour straight and i remained comfy during that time. The item came to us with a crack in the moving mechanism piece of the chair. Fortunately Wayfair has great customer service and they shipped us a brand new one for no additional cost. The assembly wasn’t terribly hard and the second one arrived in perfect condition. It’s fairly comfortable and works well.
