It lacks a star for the poor packaging. The gazebo is great. The curtains blow in the wind quite a bit so curtain weights are a must. We used some heavy magnets for the bottom. The packaging isnt the best and some items came scuffed and a little misaligned. Installation was doable with 2 people and adding a ladder as a third person helps a lot. Make sure to follow the directions. Do not over tighten the main frame before you have all the screws in place as it can be hard to get it all aligned. We love it, was a little difficult to assemble in the end DH got rid of the shingle joints slider parts which simply would not fit, and still turned out absolutely gorgeous. It has rained a lot but even without these parts the roof did not leak. It stormed a lot this summer in our older 10x10 cloth gazebo we felt too close to the rain if dining outdoors while it rains, so went with 12x16 size this time which now fits out outdoor dining set with plenty of extra room, for comfort. So this was a fun project. Not to many parts for such a large product which is great. Was able to set this up solo under 3 hours. Directions were extremely easy to read and understand, packaging was simple and easy to remove. A ladder is required. But overall it came out pretty good. Looks great too! Nice canopy. Arrived relatively quickly. Instructions were easy to follow but I still made an initial mistake but quickly realized the error. Most of the pieces snap together which is nice, otherwise a Phillips head screwdriver or drill is all you need. Fabric seems to be a good quality and well made. Wow!!! It took my husband and I about an hour to assemble, wasn’t too bad. It is very pretty, huge and I love the shade that it provides. The mosquito net curtain is also such a great feature that it came with, we just haven’t put it up! I really do like the gazebo. It does have some shipping damage, but the Handy assemblers were still able to put it together with the flaws. I do have concerns about water leaks due to the bent panels and rails, but otherwise seems solid, looks nice. Now just need to set lights and everything up and enjoy. Katherine.
