The led backlit house number will illuminate your address for outstanding visibility day and night. It features a beautiful satin nickel finish and the latest led lighting technology. This house number is mounted using 1/2-inch stainless steel spacers for a unique floating effect. The led light is projected onto the address plaque or the wall surface. This feature improves the address visibility during nighttime (over 100 feet away) and it gives a nice contemporary glow behind the number. Completely weatherproof and rustproof, it will resist harsh weather conditions. Designed in Canada, we have combined durable materials including high-quality zinc and abs plastic for solid construction. You don't have to worry; this product is built to last. 3 choices of installation (a-b or c). Type a: (recommended installation) Install the number on the plaque and power the plaque using a wired 120 v household electrical box (hardwired ready, like an outdoor light fixture) type b: install the number on the plaque and plug the power cord (#al69002) into an indoor outlet. Type c: install the number directly on the wall and plug the power supply (#al69001) into an indoor outlet. Address plaques and optional wires are sold separately. We love them (but we altered them.) We really like these sleek and visible house lights. 5 inch numbers can be read easily from the street, and the light is the perfect illumination, not too bright at night. However, because our house is a lighter color, and all our fixtures are dark bronze, we knew we wanted numbers that would contrast more against the house during daylight, and match the other accessories. When they arrived, we carefully separated the plastic cover from the metal top, then spray-painted the stainless tops with paint (designed to adhere to metal) and reassembled before mounting. It was easy and it’s been over a year and the paint, and these numbers, still look and work great.. Steph. Vallejo, CA. 2023-04-23 10:49:36
