We love them (but we altered them.) We really like these sleek and visible house lights. 5 inch numbers can be read easily from the street, and the light is the perfect illumination, not too bright at night. However, because our house is a lighter color, and all our fixtures are dark bronze, we knew we wanted numbers that would contrast more against the house during daylight, and match the other accessories. When they arrived, we carefully separated the plastic cover from the metal top, then spray-painted the stainless tops with paint (designed to adhere to metal) and reassembled before mounting. This house number is good looking and sleek. It comes with everything you need to mount it, but it is hardwired so if you're not handy you'll need to hire an electrician to do that. I haven't yet mounted it for that reason. The instructions are detailed and clear. I like that this is a US company and there's a phone number on the materials. Beautiful, large, and very well made house numbers. Definitely a great buy! When putting them up, I already received a compliment with how nice they looked. I was able to install the numbers without the help of my husband. You just have to twist two of the appropriate sized metal pieces into the back of each number (they give you two small ones and two large ones), make the markings on your house for where the number drill holes will need to be, make six drill holes into your house or wall (two holes per number), and hit the numbers in two separate areas into the wall until installed (I used my fist haha). These aluminum address numbers have clean laser cut edges with excellent clarity. The flat stock material is not particularly thick. The backs are tapped to hold two pins per number. The pins and spacers that support the numbers include two lengths for personal preference with a stand off of either 1/2” or 3/4”. The face of the well packaged carton doubles as a stiff template to assist positioning to the mounting surface.
