I am happy with these shelves. I purchased 6 of them and they all came in great condition. They seem sturdy, and don’t slope down. A couple of them seem to slope a little upwards actually… not by much though and i think its possible over time they will likely fall more flat. I did drill a hole in a few of the metal brackets so they could be attached to wood beams. I also purchased my own hardware, just to be sure I was using good sturdy hardware. Looks great and is easy to put together. It comes with a printed to-scale template so you can (in theory) pre-measure the shelf before committing to the full install. Advice for people like me read the directions all the way through. The written directions clearly marked 5 specific holes (5 of 9) for the wall anchors...but I jumped ahead earlier and drilled all 9. Well, I didn’t read the QA’s on these shelves or I would have seen that they are faux wood. And they are hollow. The black finish is a plastic type coating - no wood grain. I had to change where I planned to use them as I think they look a bit on the cheap side for my family room. I would be hesitant to display anything really heavy. I think they will be ok in a bathroom for storage of lightweight items. I do like the mounting mechanism and the fact that all the screws and anchors are included. The shelf was exactly what I wanted. The different levels are great for putting large and small items. Directions could have been better but through trial and error it was simple enough to put together. Be careful when handling the shelves because they will peel very easily.
