We selected this console sink as a complete remodel on a 1928 home in RIchmond, VA. It met the needs both style and function. It works beautifully and has a beautiful finish from quality materials. We paired it with a polished brass faucet and P trap & waterline kit also from Kingston Brass to keep the finishes all the same at the sink. I would recommend and purchase again. Kingston's carrara marble tops are polished, but they are not sealed. Polished marble has a shiny surface and resists stains. Natural stone, even when polished, is still somewhat porous and does remain susceptible to etching by acidic compounds like fruit juice, vinegar, some cleaning solvents, etc. For customers that wish to further protect their investment the marble can be sealed.The following is intended solely for informational purposes.
