This was a bit of a spur of the moment buy, which meant as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. I have become more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker lately, and have been wanting a nice tea kettle for that reason. I saw this one in grey / natural bamboo, and it matches some other items that I already have in the kitchen (breadbox, food scale, etc.). This item came within only a day or two from my order date, and it’s the prettiest kettle I have ever seen! I love the sleek Scandinavian style, and the easy-to-use design. I was surprised how beautiful this kettle is! It truly was the finishing piece in my kitchen, which is good since it sits out all the time. I love that it does not whistle and it's obvious when the water starts to boil. So much more peaceful that the whistling kettles. It is on the heavy side, but not unmanageable.
