I bought the Vintage Brown color, Size: 36.7" H x 55.11" L x 21.2" D. The color is true to what was shown on the ad. The depth was unclear before buying because the depth shown in the pick list is 21.2", but everywhere else on the page, including the diagram with measurements, showed it as 23.6". I can confirm the depth is 23.6."
The desk is sturdy, all the pieces were in the box, and undamaged. Putting it together was logical with the instructions and everything worked. The pieces lined up with the pre-drilled holes. There were two of us working at the same time on different parts so it took maybe 45 minutes. It's certainly easier to have two people for when you turn it right side up and the shelves and keyboard tray have already been attached, but maybe one person could do it all if building it in place where it will go.
There are just a few nicks of color on the surface of the desk, but it's not very noticeable and doesn't bother me. I don't know if it means it will nick easily with use, so I will try to be very careful with it.
Having a keyboard tray below the desk surface, with enough space for my 94-key keyboard and a mouse was a very important feature for me. The usable width of the keyboard tray is 23.25" and so far works great--and I can choose which side to put the mouse on, unlike some fancier ergonomic keyboard/mouse trays. There is even some available height adjustment on the keyboard tray that I didn't realize before it arrived. You can see in the picture that I have the metal braces (there are 4 total) screwed in at the lowest setting, which measures 3.5" from tray surface to the underside of desk surface. But there are four screw holes available above mine, so you could have the keyboard tray a couple of inches higher if that's more ergonomic for you.. New condo owner. Boston, MA. 2022-05-21 17:25:24
