There are two things I don’t like: The glaze on the inside only continues down a couple of inches. Contrast with another different brand smaller pot I purchased. The glaze on the smaller pot is continued inside and out. I don’t like that the stand seems too big for the pot. In the listing photos it looks like a much better fit. This is a beautiful planter and I’m so pleased with the quality. The ceramic pot is very heavy and even come with a plastic plant tray to use underneath if you rather not use the plant stand. I was concerned at first as the plant stand just fits together by the notches in the middle with no screws to hold in place but the pot is so heavy that it holds it in place and I don’t have to worry about it falling. I got this plant stand to put a fake ficus tree in, because the pot it came in looks ridiculously small. This has the size and look I wanted, but the quality isn’t great. The metal pot itself is quite thin and lightweight so I’ll have to put stones or something heavy in to prevent it from tipping over from the weight of the tree. The wood legs come in two pieces that are notched, but no screw to hold them together. It wobbles a bit with the pot in it and the wood isn’t finished. This black metal planter is the ideal size for just about any size houseplant. This orchid works out well and I surrounded it with moss. I tried a geranium and that looks great as well with some soil to raise the plant so it flows over the top of the generous sized pot. The planter is quite sturdy and requires no assembly. The legs are riveted in an X so you just open them and rest the pot in the center. It is made to support either heavy or light weight pots. I chose to use mine inside the house most of the time but it can easily transition to a patio or outdoor room. I particularly like the finish as it is smooth and clean and therefore versatile in terms of placement. It is easy to simply wipe down and spritzing plants is easy. I use a plastic planter inside rather than direct planting into the pot as there are no drainage holes. But that works for me as I can easily change out what I display in it and redesign the arrangement at will. I am enjoying this planter and I feel it suits many different decors from modern to farmhouse. These pots are beautiful and simple and the wooden legs are gorgeous. You can flip the wooden legs to add or subtract some height from your pot or you can use the pot just on its own, so theres variation in its use. The pot, when filled, does get heavy so if you want to move it around, be sure to do so holding the pot and not the legs - not that the legs are flimsy (theyre not) but it did feel like that was too much pressure on them and that could make them snap.. So I love the colors of the planter and I love how big the space is as well for the plant but I’m not to sure if I totally love it I feel like the legs look a bit small for the pot itself and also as I showed in the pictures it easy to be damaged it came already like this but more keeps flaking off when handling it!! This is a very stunning plant holder, especially near a door entrance. It makes a very nice and elegant statement.
