We were looking for something to place under the window in our bedroom that could be used for storing pillows and throws. This fit the bill! The color and size are perfect! We can use it for seating since the cushion was included. This is a sturdy chest. No assembly was required. We just had to unpack the box and screw on the legs. The chest was packaged extremely. There were two wooden supports, one one the bottom and one on the top, that prevented the box from collapsing. The entire chest was encased in styrofoam wrapped in plastic to prevent any damage. Beautiful bench, easy to assemble. It’s sturdy and can work as a bed bench or an entry bench. It could work as a dining room bench but it’s pretty short, so just make sure it would be long enough at your table. The only thing I didn’t particularly like is how they attach the bar to the bottom of the top piece before it’s assembled, because you have to use pliers to get the staples and cord out of the board underneath that are left behind. It comes off, but it was hard to avoid slight scratches underneath the top board. However, they’re not visible. It was just annoying to get slight scratches underneath a brand new bench!
