It's a very nice bench, but the instructions are bad - no words, just diagrams. So here are some words to simplify your assembly: 1. there are 4 parts to the bench that need to be connected - left and right arm & leg pieces, a seat, and a seat back. They are all connected with the same size bolts (with washers). A small wrench is included, but I found it tedious to use, if you have your own adjustable wrench or drill with socket (3/8"), it will facilitate assembly. 2. Don't follow the first illustration which shows the first step as connecting the seat bottom to both the left and right arms. If you do that, as I did, you will not be able to follow the next step of connecting the seat back. Instead, connect the seat AND the seat back to one of the arms first. Then do the same to the other arm. 3. Do not fully tighten the bolts until after you have all four pieces connected. This will allow for some wiggle room for lining up the bolts with their holes and the nuts that are permanently attached to each of the four pieces. 4. So Far liking it so much!!! It was pretty easy to set it up and the material of construction is heavy.the back rest birds design is very detailed looks very nice.the waterproofing coating looks like it can effectively repel water and prevent the bench from rusting.Bench rails are placed at correct spacing to avoid any pain while sitting on it for long time.I have the bench placed in our backyard and I must say i am really impressed and pretty sure It can withstand 180Kg. The bench arrived with several deep scratches and dents. I will need to repaint to ensure it does not rust too quickly since it is outdoors year round. Love this bench! Nice design and seems sturdy. Ordered the gray color and it is more of a gray washed brown. Easy to assemble. Overall, I love this bench. The back is pretty and unique I actually live for the back!), and it feels sturdier than I thought it would (I won’t cram a ton of people on it though). The instructions were easy, and building it wasn’t too bad—minus one screw that made life difficult. It even got stripped as we had to really turn to get it in! It’s more brown in life than it is in the picture. I know the specs say it’s brown, but I was expecting a more bronzey brown than a flat brown. It’s just brown. It’s not ugly, but it’s not amazing either. A major con for me, however, is that it came with a TON of scratches on it. I’ve attached pictures. It would be a paint o return it, so I’ll just paint it down the line and hope it doesn’t rust until then! I like it. I definitely recommend following that direction when assembling! Assembly is quite simple, but we got to the final screw and had a lot of difficulty getting it to tighten. We realized too late we had not left the other screws loose enough. We ended up using a wrench to get the final screw in place! Don't do what we did. Follow the directions and you'll have a very easy assembly process. Otherwise, it is a lovely little accent to my patio and I can't wait to enjoy it when the weather improves. Highly recommend!.
