This is a great table for the price. The color is a rustic graybrown... not true gray and not true brown... somewhere in between. Very sturdy and came packaged great. I did have two cracks on the shelves underneath on the holes where the bolts attach but Wayfair immediately shipped out replacement parts. And for those of you that are wondering if the base is in the middle when fully extended, the answer is YES!! The photos on the website can be misleading! My table is fully extended in these photos.. Nice design, could have been a little more sturdy. It also states that this table can fit 30" chairs but it actually should only fit up to about 25" chairs since the 30" chairs don't allow you to place your legs under the table. We actually have to sit sideways in the chairs while sitting at the table so we were thinking to maybe build a small plattform to sit the table on top of in order to give us more leg room under the table.. We love it. The 42" model was just the right size for our space and the table looks stylish and modern. It is solid and sturdy.
