Super cute and perfect size. It is not a true butcher block top as it had some type of finish on it but we will use it and just replace top once its stained or done. This island is super sturdy and the perfect height for food prep (just about an inch or so below standard countertop height). It was also very easy to put together! You will need a second person to help lift the top out of the box and to help turn it over at the end of assembly unless you’re a serious weightlifter, but it’s just part of why this piece is so well-made.
