The initial impression is that the sofa is adequate for a spare room to have a sleeper. I can't give any sort of long term durability review. Assembly is easy. If you push too hard on areas of the arms etc, you hear a ripping sound like fabric tearing or adhesive coming apart. The shipping and delivery was great. I ordered this as an open box couch. The only issue I saw was a small water stain on the couch. I was presently surprised with the color of the couch and throw pillows when we opened the box. From the pictures I was worried it was going to be an obnoxiously bright teal but it’s a more muted teal. I love it more than I thought I would. Everything was very easy to put together with 2 people. The cushions are definitely firm but are starting to soften a bit as we use it. The storage in the chaise is very roomy and has been great to put extra blankets and pillows in. So far it’s been a great everyday couch and the pull out has been great for when we have guests!. I did A LOT of research online and in-person at several different stores to find a couch I was excited about and had everything I wanted. I was super nervous to buy online, but the high reviews on this sofa made me feel better. I am not disappointed! Delivery was quick and easy. They emailed and called to arrange delivery (even to do it safely during COVID-19). It was super easy to put together. It is quite firm, but I like that. It definitely isn't "Dentist Office Hard". It looks great in my space. I would agree with other reviewers that it has a bit of a blue "cast". It's NOT blue, but it's a blue-undertoned gray. The fabric is very comfortable. It feels clean and soft. It does tend to attract pet hair and the feathers that shed from my pillows - so if that will bother you, consider it as a factor. My cat 100% approves, though. I love the storage ottoman - it is HUGE and will soon be home to our board games. I'm excited to get a tray to put on it. It definitely has a "curve" to it, so it's more difficult to use as a replacement coffee table than I had anticipated. My kiddo and I put sheets and blankets on it and slept on it the first night we had it. It was SO comfy! I will absolutely feel great about welcoming guests to sleep on it in my small space.
