I order the coffee table and the matching end table . I was actually expecting something cheaper made but it’s solid wood and has a rustic look to it the chain inside the top of the end table was broken and I have requested a replacement chain to hold the top open . I bought this for my daughter to take to summer camp. Decorated camp trunks are a big thing in Texas! The wheels make it simple for her to move around. The only complaint would be the lock and lock receiver are pretty flimsy- you really have to press hard to get the little plastic latch to release to open and close. First off, it came excellently packaged. If you are planning to open it on your own it’ll take a while to get it out of the box. This trunk is stunning! It definitely has the old world feel to it that can fit within any style of home. It has the slow closing hinges which is perfect for small child. I was looking for the perfect trunk to fit my livingroom as a coffee table to store the bedding for our pull out sofa when our little company comes over.
