Cant be too upset, you get what you pay for. Fairly mainline assembly but when I was tightening two of the lock screws in the middle of the unit, they snapped. The middle of the unit buckled and I had to get creative to make it work. This is a not a long term piece of furniture, wouldnt survive a move but is pretty great in my place for the next few years.. All 4 packages were left outside in rain, standing up on end, were soaked! I brought inside to dry out! The 2 cartons with open tops I am in the process of assembling! Raw edges of A, B, C, and D were up causing particle board to get wet resulting in spreading, chipping and breaking apart when attaching hardware, specifically p and n into pieces! I have had to try to dry out by using a hair blow dryer on them, then putting pieces of particle board back where they crumbled out, super-gluing It and then holding together with a clamp to see if it will hold! Where a p attaches to the top of side panel C is one I still have clamped and hopefully will be able to finish assembly today! This is a set of two I purchased and placed side by side. I like that they are not too wide so you can do that. Often media cases are one huge piece making it clunky and difficult to move. This one was not terribly difficult to put together. All the needed tools are included and took maybe an hour once youve unpacked it. The quality is decent and much sturdier than your common media cases like this. Ive had several different brands before from retail stores and these are much stronger.. Shane.
